A Walk in Halifax’s Point Pleasant Park

Hurray for Fall!

This weekend, on our (semi)romantic Halifax getaway, Scott and I took a walk through Point Pleasant Park. What a fantastic place! The park, located in Halifax’s south end, offers a large number of trails, scenic waterfront views, and plenty of space for dog friends to roam.

We enjoyed the crisp leaves and comfortable fall temperatures as we toured around the (seemingly endless) paths. I stole Scott’s mittens, tried to take some awkward photos with a cannon (not featured here – sorry!), and had my photo taken with an adorable seal sculpture. And after all the walking (and there was a lot of it), we decided to indulge in some ice cream.

I honestly can’t recommend this park enough – it’s so close to the city and yet comfortably secluded.
