The end of the garden season is here – which means we’re down to our last vegetables.
Our fridge is full to bursting with tomatoes and peppers; we need to do something with them quickly! We’ve tried pickling our hot peppers, but what can we do with the regular ones?
After a little research, I learned that you can freeze peppers. I have no idea how well they will turn out, but I am willing to take the risk. I can imagine them coming in handy for winter pasta dishes or chili – but I can’t imagine eating them raw. So that’s the plan: the extra peppers will be frozen and we’ll see what happens! Fingers crossed.
