Rainy Garden Update

Well would ya look at that?

This week’s rainy weather has enabled plenty of new growth in the garden!

Scott and I popped into the garden between rain showers – we couldn’t resist! It’s been raining off-and-on since Sunday and I couldn’t wait to see how things were going. We were not disappointed – the peppers are thick with leaves and one pepper was nearly two centimeters long. Our tomatoes required some pruning and had plenty of tiny green fruit hidden in the foliage. The lettuce is finally coming up, beet greens are plenty, and green onions are transitioning into full onions.

We have one jumbo dill sized cucumber and our snap peas have reached the top of their trellis. It’s fantastic! I can’t wait to see what the weekend brings.
