Garden update – mid-july



I’m just back from the garden – and it’s starting to fill out a little.

For people outside of PEI, this probably looks a bit sad, but I assure you that our growing season is a bit later than most. We’ll catch up and get a couple extra weeks at the end of the season!

As you can see, our peas are starting to climb and our peppers are hanging in there. Onions and tomatoes are thriving, as are the little weeds that we’re working hard to keep at bay.

We had to replant our lettuce this week, so hopefully we’ll be seeing some productivity in the centre of the plot soon!
